The production department is a large piece of the completion center at Metro Aviation. The department is made up of mechanics, aviation drafters, STC coordinators, sheet metal technicians, and administrative personnel.
More than a production department, the shop is a team of creators, designers, and innovators. They come together to build and create anything our customers can dream of.

I was basically born to be a part of the Metro team. I’ve spent years of my adolescence here… I’ve become familiar with several departments at Metro and completed an internship here. I explored other opportunities and found myself back here at Metro.

Solutions from Scratch
With 3 CNC machines, our Machine Shop is a well-oiled machine. From Tactical Flight Officer Stations to window mounts and medical floors, we can make anything.
As a Machine Shop Team Member, you’ll work with raw aluminum and steel to create a variety of solutions for our air medical, law enforcement, and corporate customers.
Did you know? Blood is more corrosive than salt water. Once that was discovered, we began putting a blood dam for all bodily fluids in our medical floor.
Blade Business
Our blade shop is committed to reducing aircraft downtime. By doing our own blade maintenance and repairs, we have reduced the time needed to get helicopter blades back in service.
We’re expanding this venture in 2024, building a brand new state-of-the-art blade shop to introduce more capabilities.
