Yep. we’ve got our own university
Metro U is a voluntary leadership program created to equip our next generation of leaders through real-world lessons and engaging lessons.
Metro celebrated 40 years in 2022 and we have no desire to slow down. The next four decades will require a great group of leaders. Metro U is open to anyone that has been at Metro at least one year and no previous leadership experience is required.
There is something for everyone. From the “board room to family room,” Metro U prepares you to be a leader in the workplace, community, and your home.

We collaborated with Wildsparq to launch our first Metro U class with a test group of 16 in January 2023. When we opened company-wide enrollment for the Fall 2023 semester, we welcomed more than 100 students.
We ask that each student commit to a year. After that, students can keep progressing through the curriculum or take a break.
THINKING OUT OF THE BOX
Throughout the year, we take opportunities to bring in leaders to speak to our group in Shreveport, as well as virtually for those around the country. We have covered topics like clear communication, inter-department management, and growing leadership from within.
